Natural Organic Food

Almost all the food you buy in the store comes from the land. It is the farmers who ensure that we have food. Some farmers make Natural Organic Food because they think it is important that food is natural. With 'natural' you should think of the food cycle. For centuries, farmers fed their livestock with grass, grain, and tubers that they grew on their land. The farmers used the manure from the animals to make the land fertile again.
But because food had to be grown more and more quickly, the soil became exhausted. To make the fields fertile again, the farmers started to use fertilizer. Artificial pesticides have been developed against diseases.
Some farmers no longer felt like it. They wanted to produce food that is good for people, animals, and the environment. They returned to work as farmers had for centuries.

Natural Organic Food

Certain plants, such as lupine or mustard seed, can extract fertilizers from the air and release them to the soil. This replaces fertilizer. The plants are plowed under and so all raw materials enter the soil.

Fertilizer
Farmers used to have to work hard to produce enough food. Especially if there were few nutrients in the soil. The entire crop could fail due to diseases. Or die the entire herd.
That is why we looked for ways to improve the harvest. For example with fertilizer. And to prevent diseases, they used pesticides. This also enabled them to control weeds. If too much fertilizer is used, the fertilizers rinse into the groundwater that is used to make drinking water. The poison from pesticides also ends up in the soil and thus in the animals' food chain.
The use of tractors and other agricultural machines made farm work easier. This allowed the farms to grow bigger and bigger and the factory industry was created.

Animal friendly
How can you call meat animal-friendly? An animal must be killed to make a croquette. Organic farmers ensure that animals have a good life before they are slaughtered. Pigs have a lot of space in organic pig farming. They can go outside to root in a mud bath.
Animals can also get sick. When pigs are close together, the disease can quickly spread to all animals. By giving antibiotics to pigs you prevent an outbreak. But in this way, healthy animals also receive substances that do not belong in meat. The organic farmer prefers to use natural medicines when an animal is sick.
Organic farmers also prefer not to use artificial pesticides. He can prevent diseases by, for example, growing a different crop every year.
